What is business coaching?
Business coaching is a personalized, one-on-one relationship designed to help you start or grow your venture. The “business” part and the “coaching” part are equally important. The business part means practical, strategic guidance on the things that actually move the needle — positioning, marketing, sales, pricing, and what to build next. The coaching part is about you: building the mindset, confidence, and clarity to make decisions and keep going, even when it’s hard.
Who is BET ON YRSLF for?
BET ON YRSLF is for current and aspiring founders, freelancers, consultants, solo practitioners, and solopreneurs — people who are betting on themselves, or who are ready to start. If you’re building something that’s entirely yours, you’re in the right place.
Do I need business experience to work with you?
No. BET ON YRSLF works with people at every stage — whether you’re just starting to explore an idea or you’ve already built something and need help making it grow. We start wherever you are.
I want to bet on myself but I don’t have a business idea yet. Can I still work with you?
Yes. Some of the best work we do together happens before the idea is fully formed. We’ll figure out what you’re actually best positioned to build, what lights you up, and what the market will pay for — and then we’ll build from there.
Do you specialize in specific industries or categories?
No — and that’s intentional. The fundamentals of building a strong, sustainable business apply across categories. I’ve worked with founders in creative fields, professional services, media, wellness, tech, and more. If you’re selling something and you need help making it work, we can talk.
Do you help with digital products and platforms?
Yes. I can help with positioning, pricing, pitch narratives, marketing strategy, and user acquisition — whether you’re building a course, a community, a SaaS product, or something in between.
Do you do physical product development?
I don’t do product manufacturing or development, but I can absolutely help with everything around the product — positioning, naming, pricing, go-to-market strategy, and marketing. The business side is my lane.
What does working together actually look like?
It depends on what you need. Some clients do a focused sprint — a defined engagement with a clear deliverable over a few days or weeks. Others work with me on an ongoing basis, with regular sessions and async support in between. We’ll figure out the right format on our fit chat.
What if I don’t want to start a business — I just want support figuring out my next move?
That’s a valid reason to work together too. Clarity on what you want and confidence in your ability to pursue it — that’s the work, whether or not a business is the outcome. Book a fit chat and we’ll figure out if I’m the right person to help.
Do I need to quit my job first?
No. Starting on the side is a great way to start. That way, you can start building while you’re still earning money and go all-in when you feel ready.
Is it worth the investment?
One client negotiated a rate increase that covered the cost of working together in the first week. Another went from never before freelancing to having 6 consecutive projects within 3 months. Think of this as an investment with a near-term return.
I want to work with you but I’m not sure I have the budget. What should I do?
Book a fit chat anyway. We’ll talk through what you’re working on, what support would actually help, and whether there’s a way to make it work. Payment plans are available on most offerings.
