The thing you need to hear
BET ON YRSLF is not a dare to start a business. It is also not a mandate to find your passion, optimize your identity, or productivity-maxx.
It’s actually even BIGGER than all that.
Betting on yourself is about participating fully in your own life.
It’s about believing that you can be or do anything you want in this lifetime. That you deserve to be or do anything you want in this lifetime. And then trusting yourself enough to go find out.
Your “self” is shaped and conditioned by the world from the moment you’re born. Your “self” is built from expectations, comparisons, and the accumulation of other people’s opinions about who you should be. And your “self,” regardless of all of that, and however subconsciously, knows what it actually wants. Betting on yourself means learning to hear that part, and then acting on it.
Now, bets, by definition, involve uncertain outcomes. And betting on yourself doesn’t mean ignoring outcomes. It means refusing to let outcomes be the only measure of whether the bet was worth making. A lifetime of betting on yourself will bring both wins and losses. The most resilient people (and dare I say, the happiest?) aren’t the ones who always “win.” They’re the ones who can remain whole through both. They keep moving not because they have something to prove, but because they’ve built a relationship with themselves strong enough to survive uncertainty.
Betting on yourself means showing up, making the next bet, and understanding that showing up is proof enough. It might mean moving to a new city. Quitting a harmful habit. Ending a toxic relationship. Doing the thing you always wanted to do so that one day, looking back, you can say: I participated fully. I actually showed up for my own life.
It means keeping your word to yourself not because you “should,” but because every promise you keep is proof that you are someone you can rely on. It means trusting your inner voice over external noise. It means taking sacred responsibility for your gifts, because your light is worth directing consciously, and when you don’t let it shine the way it wants to, it turns to poison.
Whether the bet you’re making right now is a business, a life of working for yourself, the pursuit of a creative goal, or something else: don’t wait for a more certain outcome. Don’t wait for someone else to tell you you’re ready. Readiness is a choice.
And if your bet right now is bringing something you’ve always dreamed of to life — or making your own money, on your own terms, building something that’s entirely yours — I’m here to help you create the best possible conditions to make that bet pay off.
Don’t ignore the voice that says “maybe I can.” Don’t ignore the voice that says “this is hard, but I can keep going.”
Your life is happening right now.
BET ON YRSLF.
Core values
1. “You cannot lose — you can only win or learn.”
— my dear friend Erica’s grandmother
There is no such thing as a failed bet. There are only bets that paid off and bets that taught you something. We aim for every bet to pay off, and most of them do — but BET ON YRSLF is built on the belief that action is the only real teacher. You learn more from trying than from planning. More from shipping than from perfecting. More from making the bet than from endlessly studying the odds. So we try stuff. We make the next bet. We study what happens. And then we bet again.
2. Integrity.
We do not invent and sell solutions to problems that don’t exist, and we are not in the business of helping clients strike it rich overnight. We are in the business of making visions more successful by delivering viable, sustainable business models that are grounded in real revenue possibilities and that provide genuine value to their customers.
3. Accessibility & Inclusivity.
We believe that anyone can bet on themselves. Coaching helps, and we are committed to making as many resources as possible available without a paywall.
